Welcome to Chichester Cormorants Swimming Club. We hope you will enjoy swimming with us.

1.      Complete a membership form and pay the annual membership fee of £25.

2.      Pay the subscription fee each month either by standing order or by a single cheque for the year up to and including January — for a full year there is a special rate of £264

Membership is renewed at the beginning of February each year. You will find a membership form and a standing order form enclosed. Cheques should be made payable to C.C.S.C. Please complete them at the end of your four week trial and send them to:

New members are entitled to one free latex swimming cap.

As a new member you will be offered a minimum of two swims a week. Normally this will be the main club night on Fridays (7:00pm-7:45pm or 7:45pm-9:00pm) and either Sunday morning 8:00am-9:00am or Monday night 8:00pm-9:00pm. There is a Junior Squad session at Westbourne House School on Wednesday evening, which is by invitation only. Please check with our Head Coach, Carol Barber, which sessions you should be attending.

Masters Swimmers swim on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 6:30am-7:30am and Sunday mornings 8:00am-9:00am.

All our coaches are qualified A.S.A. Swimming Teachers or A.S.A. Assistant Swimming Teachers. They give their time voluntarily, which enables us to keep our fees at a very competitive rate.

As a competitive swimming club we are affiliated to the Amateur Swimming Association and the Southern Counties Amateur Swimming Association. We compete in four leagues: The Sussex League, The Rother League, The Speedo League and The Wey League. The Head Coach chooses the Gala Squad depending on the criteria of age/ability required by each fixture. Swimmers should therefore read the club notice board each week. In addition, swimmers can enter Open Meets and those who have qualifying times take part in the Sussex County Championships.

Club Swimming kit is available to purchase on Friday evenings from the registration desk.

Swimming hats are required for training and Club costumes and hats must be worn when taking part in galas.

If you have any further questions please enquire at the club desk on Fridays.
