Welcome to Chichester Cormorants Swimming Club’s (CCSC) website

CCSC has been established for over 50 years and has a growing and enthusiastic membership. We are a competitive swimming club and we train at the Westgate Leisure Centre and Westbourne House and compete in galas at the weekends.

During the week and at weekends we run training sessions that are split into different squads: Development, Junior, Senior and Masters based on the ability and age of the swimmer. 

Our swimmers compete as a team in a number of different leagues including Speedo, Sussex, Rother and Wey. These competitions are at the weekends. 

In addition our top swimmers compete and train as individuals (although proudly representing our club!) at county, national and international events.

In addition to our competitive Club we also run the highly successful Chichester Cormorants’ Swim School, in which the ASA National Teaching Plan is followed to develop non and beginner swimmers into competent, technically proficient swimmers.

Although we have formal rules and procedures like any club the underwritten principles that we adhere to are:

          . We encourage all levels of swimmer to train and take part

          . Everyone is treated fairly

          . We are a friendly club

          . We are run on a voluntary basis
